Ivy Hesse
Ivy Hesse is an experienced investment professional with over eighteen (18) years’ experience spanning key roles in capital markets in Ghana and Rwanda. Ivy believes and has been an avid advocate for the building of resilient capital market institutions and creation of sustainable wealth across SS Africa.
She has worked with leading investment industry institutions such as Databank Group and SEM Associates in Ghana. And over the recent eleven years of her work as a capital market consultant, she has been championing the adoption of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) by proposing adoption policy approach in consultation with key regulators and providing training and implementation consulting to implementing firms.
She was also the Technical Consultant engaged by MINECOFIN for the operationalization of the Rwanda Stock Exchange Investment Clinic Secretariat.
Ivy was instrumental in the establishment of the CFA Society, Ghana and served as the chair of the Advocacy Committee and Society Secretary and was also an Independent Trustee on seven (7) pension fund boards in Ghana.
She is currently a member of the CFA Institute Africa Advocacy Council.
