Kedibone Imathiu CA(SA), (MBA), CD(SA)
Kedibone has more than 18 years of private equity, corporate finance and fund management experience. She is a co-founder of Kazi Investments, a private equity investment firm established to invest long-term growth capital into medium-sized businesses.
Prior to that Kedibone was a Fund Principal at the Public Investment Corporation (“PIC”), leading the Social Infrastructure team that invested in transactions in excess of R2 billion with a focus on investments in the healthcare, education, and agriculture sectors.
She has advised in mergers and acquisitions at Investec’s Corporate Finance team in the Johannesburg and London offices. She completed her articles at KPMG in Johannesburg and held subsequent roles in KPMG Boston and New York.
Kedibone has had broad investment committee experience while serving as a member of investment committees on private equity and VC funds.
Kedibone holds a Masters of Business Administration from Cranfield University in the UK, a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of South Africa. She is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa), and Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors South Africa.
